BACK GROUND:
IATA Resolution 606 requires the standardization for all airlines of barcode labeling on cargo shipments. This system was implemented using PCs, handy terminals and printers for both the IATA 606 labels and for document labels.

EFFECT:
Easy tracking and increased efficiency of all cargo shipments through the Airline's Cargo network. Compliance with IATA standards.
